All members must fill out and sign a membership agreement EVERY year. If you are renewing your membership you can print, fill out, sign and mail it in with your check. Our By-Laws state that in order to become a new working member you must attend a club meeting, have a current member must vouch for your character and the members present at the meeting must have a majority vote to confirm. It is possible to become a working member even if you don’t know a current member. If that is the case you need to schedule a meeting with the Board of Directors for them to have a personal interview and make a decision from there.
Non Working Memberships are available at any time throughout the year, and do NOT require attending a meeting. Non Working memberships do NOT have a cap, we have an unlimited amount available at all times. Non Working Memberships can be purchased at a meeting, or by filling out the forms and mailing in a check.
All memberships are for the calendar year/season. Whether you purchase your membership in January or July, it is good until the end of the year, NOT 1 year from the date of purchase. Active memberships have access to use the track year round, even in the off season while we don’t have water or grooming. During the off season the conditions can get rough, and without water it can get very dusty. We ask our members to use their best judgement when they use the track when there isn’t water available. If it gets too dusty or if the track is too rough to ride then members are asked to not ride during those times. We must be respectful of our neighbors, use your best judgement.
You can download and print the Membership Agreement by clicking on the button below. Make sure you write LEGIBLY. If we can’t read your contact info, then we won’t be able to contact you. Also, make sure to fill out EVERY section of the form. The only exception is the under 18 liability release. If you don’t have anyone on your membership under 18, you don’t have to fill out that section. Every other section is required
Membership Dues / Renewals are due Jan 1st every year and are considered delinquent after March 31st. Early payment would be greatly appreciated. Please print and mail completed and signed membership application to:
PO BOX 13066
Ogden, UT 84412-3066
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to notify us that you have mailed your forms/payment so we can keep track of what to expect.
Guest Passes can be purchased ONLY at club meetings. Guest passes can only be purchased by working members in good standing and Non-Working members. Guests are only allowed to ride the track with a member of the track. When you bring the guest to the track, they need to sign a waiver and wear the wrist band the entire time they are on the property. Failure to follow these rules can lead to losing your membership! ;Please drop the signed waiver in the drop slot at the front gate shack BEFORE you start riding. In 2016, we passed an amendment to the by-laws allowing Non-Working members to purchase and use guest passes. You can download a copy of the liability waiver by clicking on the button below.
Club meetings are typically held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7 pm at the Roy City Library. Occasionally there are scheduling conflicts in which case we will post the date of the meeting in advance. Working members are required to attend at least half of the meetings annually to remain in good standing. All club business is discussed and voted upon at these meetings. By attending you will get a chance to have your voice heard. Any changes to by-laws are proposed and voted on. You can also buy guest passes and pay your membership renewals.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please attend one of our monthly club meetings. At the meetings you can get a feel for how the club works, as well as ask any questions about becoming a member. We have a limited number of working memberships available but as working members become charter, new spots open up. You can also email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. New working members must attend a club meeting to turn in their application and talk with the board of directors prior to becoming a member.
New Working Membership
- New Working Members must join at a club meeting. Our By-Laws state: Any person of good moral character, proposed by a member in good standing and accepted by majority vote of the general membership present at a club meeting may become a member provided they are willing to accept and perform all requirements of the organization.
Working Member Renewal
- Working Memberships for a single rider are required to work 20 hours per year. Family members living in the same household, i.e. Children, Spouse, can ride on the same membership. Family memberships of 2 or more riders 13 years or older are required to work 30 hours per year. Children 12 and under can ride on the same membership without additional hours.
Non Working Member
- Non Working memberships can add additional riders 13 years and older for an additional $200/rider. Children 12 and under can ride on the membership without additional dues. Non Working memberships are more like a season pass. You have the same access to the track as a working member, but don’t have all the same benefits. Non Working memberships still have to pay gate fees at race events. Non Working memberships can’t buy guest passes. Additional riders must be immediate family/spouse living in the same household.
- Working members reach Charter status once they have maintained their membership for 10 consecutive years. Charter members dues and hours are cut in half.
