OGDEN CYCLE ASSOCIATION
The purpose of these proposals are to present options to OCA members for improving the declining business model of OCA. Proposals #1 and #2 create a club that is less dependent on publicly held races to fund operations, maintenance, improvements and FUN. Proposal #3 is expected to improve club member hour responsibility.
All proposals below are annual fees.
Proposal #1 for amendment:
• Working Member fees increase from $300 to $500
• Working Member hours decrease from 40 to 20 or 60 to 30 depending on the membership type; single or family
• Charter Member fees increase from $150 to $250
• Charter member hours decrease from 20 to 10 or 30 to 15 depending on the membership type; single or family
• Lifetime Member fees increase from $0 to $50
• Lifetime Member hours remain at 0
• Lifetime Members and family members will NOT be allowed free entry to events for adults (above 18 years of age)
• Current Lifetime Members; additional riders on current Lifetime Memberships will be required to pay $50
• Future Lifetime Members; first next generation will be allowed to enter the club as a Charter Member as described above
• Lifetime Memberships can only be handed down to one family member and for only one past the original Member
• A college student with a transferred Lifetime Membership may take four consecutive years leave of absence upon request at a club meeting
• Nonworking Member fees increase from $800 to $1000 with $200 per additional rider within the same family

• Working Member hours decrease from 40 to 30 or 60 to 40depending on the membership type; single or family
• Charter Member fees increase from $150 to $200
• Charter member hours decrease from 20 to 15 or 30 to 20depending on the membership type; single or family
• Lifetime Member fees increase from $0 to $25
• Lifetime Member hours increase from 0 to 5
• Lifetime Members and family members will NOT be allowed free entry to events for adults (above 18 years of age)
• Current Lifetime Members; additional riders on current Lifetime Memberships will be required to pay $50
• Future Lifetime Members; first next generation will be allowed to enter the club as a Charter Member for $150 and 10 hours, after 5 consecutive years as a charter member they will be granted Lifetime Membership with applicable fees and hours

The deposit is to ensure the required hours are complied with if hours are not met the deposit will be forfeited to the club, deposits will be returned once hours are complied with.
